'MUSIC AWARDS' At
the end of 2003, Chris was delighted to be informed that three of his songs from
Tiebreak and one instrumental piece called 'Vapour Trails' had been successfully
placed in several prestigeous international songwriting and composing competitions:- I)
'Sign on the Dotted Line' reached First Place in the COOCH MUSIC Amateur Songwriting
Contest 2003; II) 'Breakin' all the Rules' and 'Last Request' reached the
finalists stage if the UNISONG International Song Contest; III) 'Vapour Trails'
reached the finalists stage of the Instrumental section of the UK Songwriting
Contest 2003. Chris is proud to say that he has now been accepted as an Associate
Writer Member of the MERCURY MUSICAL DEVELOPMENTS organisation , (in which there
are less than 100 members); and has been asked to join the BRITISH ACADEMY OF
COMPOSERS & SONGWRITERS.
